The Cascadia Wine Competition, operated by Great Northwest Wine, is the largest judging of Pacific Northwest wine staged in the U.S., and an international panel of 21 experts spent three days evaluating 1,012 wines using fruit from Washington, Oregon, Idaho or British Columbia.

This month’s judging along the banks of the Columbia River at the Courtyard Marriott Columbia Point reaffirmed the region’s magical work with Pinot Gris. Last fall, the 2017 Great Northwest Invitational Wine Competition was won by the Pike Road Wines 2016 Pinot Gris, produced in Oregon’s Willamette Valley under the direction of famed Elk Cove Vineyards producer Adam Campbell.>>>Read entire article featuring Woodinville wineries on Great Northwest Wine
