WEEK 45 | DINEEN VINEYARDS

Dineen Vineyards is located in the hills of the Lower Yakima Valley. It is a family owned and operated viticulture business with one of the premier sites in the state and highly acclaimed Estate wines.

A passion for food, wine, friends and global travel led Pat & Lanie Dineen to vineyards and tasting rooms, foreshadowing the start of Dineen Vineyards. In 2001, an initial investment was made in a 12-acre apple orchard. The trees were removed and the first Dineen vines were planted in what is now known as Catherine’s vineyard, named after Pat’s mother. In 2002, a much larger, 80-acre parcel was purchased becoming the second vineyard in the portfolio and home to the Dineen Vineyards tasting room. All of the blocks at this site are named for members of our immediate family. Pat’s wife Lanie, daughters Marissa and Bridget, and grandchildren Charlotte, Quinn and Rose are represented.

Dineen Vineyards understands that the quality of their wines begins with the land, in the vineyard. Their grapes are grown in one of the pre-eminent sites in the State of Washington, and meticulous management practices ensure the health of the vine and quality of fruit from planting through harvest. Dineen’s boutique wine making processes balance science, art and passion to produce elegant wines in limited quantities

ABOUT THE COTTAGE
The Cottage is a full-service restaurant specializing in local, farm-to-table fare on a rotating, seasonal menu. Almost everything is made in-house, and we frequently know the farm from which the ingredients hail! Our full bar features a number of offerings from small, local purveyors including beer, wine, and craft cocktails. We pride ourselves on our customer service, and aim to create an experience unlike anywhere else.
