425Cellars has been in operations for 4 years with our first vintage for retail in 2018. The inaugural release of our 2018 Albarino won double gold from SIP magazine and again in 2019. The winemaker has been in the industry for 19 years ranging from working in tasting rooms to winemaking. Our winemaking goal is to produce wines that highlight Washington state’s fruit. We are not trying to imitate wines from other regions, but instead, look for grape varieties from Washington vineyards that result in wines which could not be made anywhere else. Washington wines are naturally fruit-forward, higher in acidity, and food-friendly.
