Maryhill will open a tasting room and bistro in Woodinville November 16th.

Woodinville wine country is about to get a new resident. Maryhill Winery — a family-owned establishment originally from the Columbia Valley region — plans to open up a tasting room and bistro in Woodinville’s historic Hollywood Schoolhouse November 16. The massive 10,000 square-foot venue (built in 1912) has gardens and outdoor balconies, with a ballroom, antique bar, and full kitchen, along with room for up to 450 people.

Maryhill is one of the largest wineries in Washington state, producing 80,000 cases per year among more than 30 varietals. It’s also known for its approachable lighter wines — Maryhill’s 2016 zinfandel recently landed on the Seattle Times’s list of best wines $25 and under. In the 20 years of operations, Maryhill has branched out to four tasting rooms across the state, including Goldendale, Spokane, and Vancouver. But this will be the first time it’s been within a short drive to Seattle.
