Seattle area wine drinkers can raise a glass to this news. After more than eight months of anticipation, DeLille Cellars — a well-regarded winery which has been in the area since the early ‘90s — recently unveiled its sparkling new facility in Woodinville’s Hollywood Station building. There will be a special ticketed preview event next weekend, and the winery will officially open to the public for tastings December 6.

DeLille — known for popular Bordeaux-style blends, particularly its signature D2 — was founded in 1992, operating smaller tasting rooms around Woodinville. But this will be the first time the company has had its production and retail facilities all under one roof since 1998. It also hopes that the winery itself will be a destination for both longtime fans and those not yet familiar with DeLille, as it plans to host comparative wine tastings, cheese pairings, and live music.
