Join us for a special evening of live jazz at Village Wines featuring the Spotlight Jazz Ensembles, the jazz performance and education program of Spotlight Repertory Northwest. Known for their relaxed yet polished delivery of beloved jazz standards, Spotlight Jazz Ensembles have brought vibrant music to venues across the Eastside, Ballard, and beyond.
This performance showcases talented vocalists ages 16+ who train in classic jazz repertoire including swing, bossa nova, Latin styles, and ballads, guided by professional jazz artists Frances Garcia Hoffman and Denine Monet. The evening highlights confident stage presence, thoughtful song interpretation, and the joy of live jazz shared with the community.
Accompaniment for the night will be led by acclaimed pianist Jeff Messman, whose experience and musicality bring warmth and depth to every performance.
