Solitary Series Release Party @ Watts Brewing

This Saturday we release the first Solitary Series beer from the new brewery!

Solitary Series: January 2024 is an imperial stout aged on American oak and amburana. Now you may not have heard of amburana, but it is a Brazilian hardwood that has an intoxicating aroma reminiscent of cinnamon and nutmeg. We built this recipe as the perfect beer to showcase amburana, with chocolatey roast malts, light creamy body, a touch of vanilla from the oak aging, and a dry coffee-like finish.

We’re celebrating the release of this beer with a party at the taproom! Come join the Watts crew to taste the new beer and learn about amburana. We will have a VIP guided tasting for our Solitary Society members at 12:30 pm, then the beer will be available to the public starting at 1 pm. We will have top notch barbeque available from Bothell’s own Carolina Smoke BBQ as well.
