Totally Groovy Sugar Cookie Decorating Class @ Village Wines

Interested in learning more about decorated sugar cookies?! Whats Her Bucket’s Cookies is here to help! In this 2-hour class, we’ll cover the basics to sugar cookies (so – yes, it’s beginner friendly!), do some piping practice with Royal Icing, talk about how to strategize the best ways to decorate sugar cookies, and cover the general concepts around dough and icing! Everything you’ll need is provided at class along with a live in-person instructor – just bring a smile (and maybe an apron). Un-wined with us at Village Wines – your first glass is on us! (for “minor” participants a $10 credit towards food or non-alcoholic beverages will be applied at the event)! And don’t worry, we’ve got plenty of snacks and sips to keep the good times flowing as we decorate together.

About this Class

This class is for the beginner cookier or for the person who is just curious about what cookie decorating is all about! If you have limited experience with sugar cookies, found yourself frustrated with royal icing, or if you’re trying to have fun with family or friends, this is the class for you! We’ll be decorating a set of 6 groovy cookies to complete this set as we deep-dive into all things sugar cookies!

We provide everything you will need from cookies, icing, sprinkles, and a box to take your awesome creations home in – we just need YOU! Each to-be-baker gets 6 cookies, 4 icing colors, sprinkles, 1 glass of wine (for “minor” participants a $10 credit towards food or non-alcoholic beverages will be applied at the event), and all the tools necessary to knock this cookie class out of the park! Everything is prepped right before class – so no baking or icing mixing required. Just decorate!

This class is on August 27, 2024 and starts at 6:00pm – 8:00pm sharp so we can have enough time to decorate and answer along the way. Come by yourself, bring your best friend, or bring the family – we have seating for up to 15 people! It’s a blast whether you’re coming with a friend, family member, or solo!

This class is good for ages 16 to 100, but if you’d like to leave the kiddos at home, purchase an add-on kit (more on that below)! The kits are great for kids at home, plus – we’ll send you the class website so you can teach them yourself!

The class will be held at the Village Wines, 14450 Redmond-Woodinville Rd NE, Woodinville, WA 98072. Nervous about the parking situation? Don’t be! Parking is pretty easy – there is plenty of parking in front of the winery.
