The Hollywood School was built in 1912 to replace the 1892 one-room Derby School that stood on that site at the intersection of the Woodinville-Redmond Road and NE 145th Street. The original school was financed by Hollywood Farm owner Fred Stimson, who was able to get the name changed to Hollywood School. The school closed in 1921 when Hollywood School District merged with the Bothell School District and the children were bused to Bothell. The building was designated a City of Woodinville Landmark in 1992
