Since 1999, Novelty Hill and Januik have shared one roof and one mission: capturing the character of Washington’s best vineyards under the direction of winemaker Mike Januik, named one of the world’s ten “Masters of Merlot” by Wine Enthusiast. Together, the Januik, Novelty Hill, and Andrew Januik labels have earned more than 1,100 90-point-plus ratings. A second generation now carries the tradition forward, with Andrew Januik crafting wines alongside his father, focused on elegant Bordeaux- and Rhone-style wines designed to pair beautifully with food. In the kitchen, Executive Chef Tanner Smith, formerly of Seattle’s Brimmer & Heeltap, brings classically trained, globally inspired cooking to our tasting room and private events. Visit our Woodinville grounds for tastings, weekly Wednesday Wine’d Downs, and private events for up to 400 guests. Guests booking private events can also add craft batch cocktails to their celebration. Kitchen food service is available Friday through Sunday, while charcuterie and cheese boards, wine flights, glasses, and bottles are offered all seven days. We’re closed on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Thanksgiving, plus occasional additional dates for full-property private event buyouts.
