A Woodinville holiday tradition is getting a tasty twist this year. Woodinville Wine Country’s St. Nick’s weekend is kicking off with a special, first-of-its-kind Friday night event. Two renowned chefs from opposite sides of the country – but who share the same culinary philosophy – will be join together to create cuisine that pairs perfectly with Woodinville’s world class wine.
Special guest chef Justin Severino, James Beard Award-nominee and owner of Cure Restaurant in Pittsburgh, will team up with Novelty Hill Januik’s executive chef Seth Fernald for an evening of Cure-ated food and wines at Novelty Hill Januik Winery on Friday, December 1st from 7 to 9:30. More than 25 Woodinville wineries will be pouring wine tastings to accompany the savory bites.
East Coast meets West Coast in this unique culinary collaboration that will highlight the two chefs and their dedication to fresh, local cuisine. Both Justin and Seth embrace local wines that pair perfectly with their regionally-focused menu items. It will be an opportunity for you to sample food made by nationally-recognized chefs, taste award-winning wines and take home a variety of bottles for your holiday celebrations.
In addition to Friday night’s fun, tickets are available for the St. Nick’s Open House on Saturday and Sunday. More than 25 wineries and tasting rooms throughout Woodinville Wine Country will welcome ticket holders for an entire weekend of holiday touring and tasting. Enjoy the festive flavors of Washington wines while you drink in the spirit of the season.
