Currently, he is a Wine and Spirit Educational Trust (WSET) Diploma student and hopes to one day pursue his Master of Wine. He has called Nashville home since 2006 but is excited to start a new chapter in his career in the Pacific Northwest. He along with his wife Heidi, and their two-year-old son Arlo will officially become Washingtonians in mid December.
“I am excited for our family’s adventure to begin in the Pacific Northwest. The Washington Wine Industry has been on my radar for a couple of years now and I always envisioned making a move out this way as my career in wine evolved. I am so excited for the opportunity to join the community in Woodinville and can’t wait to work with some of the best wine producers in the country.”
If you’re wondering what kind of wine Acampora likes to drink, “With reds my go to is fruit forward, medium tannin, nuanced and complex with just a hint of spice. I want to enjoy a glass without food, with good company and conversation. As for whites, I am a sucker for a good off dry Riesling or Pinot Gris.”
Adam Acampora starts January 3, 2022
