I recently wrote about one of my go-to wineries, which are the wineries that exhibit consistently high quality across vintages and varietals. Another of the most-often recommended wineries is Chateau Ste. Michelle in Washington State.

Chateau Ste. Michelle is one of my favorite wineries as it makes a lot of really good wines. It celebrated its 50th anniversary last year, and routinely gets rave reviews from many of the top wine publications.

The winery makes some great red and white wines, but for me it’s all about their whites. The Rieslings are very good and come in different styles, and they also have good Chardonnays, Pinot Gris and Gewurztraminer. On the red side, it makes particularly good Merlot.

Below are some of the wines from Chateau Ste. Michelle that I have enjoyed and recommend:

Chateau Ste. Michelle Columbia Valley Riesling 2015 — This is one of my favorite types of wine and it goes great with food. It offers up a mix of apple, peach and citrus flavors and aromas. It is medium-dry, meaning it has a hint of sweetness, but not enough to actually be called a sweet wine. It’s refreshing and would match well with seafood, salads, chicken or pasta, as well as fruit desserts. It should cost about $10.>>>Read the entire article on Biz Journals
