Quiddity’s Holiday Vertical Syrah Collection
For this year’s Holiday season, Quiddity is offering a vertical collection our Syrahs. You can choose 3 from the below list of 4. They come all nestled in an attractive gift box, perfect for Holiday giving. It is also worth noting that the Quantities of the 2018 AUDENTES are very limited and the 2020 AUDENTES and 2020 AUDENTES – Block 14 have not yet been released to the general public and are only available in this Holiday Collection.
2018 AUDENTES – This is a big, dry red wine that is also well mannered. A full round mouthfeel with medium tannins and aromas and flavors of red berries, red cherries, tobacco, and green peppercorns. There are precious few cases of this vintage left and most that are have been dedicated to the Holiday Collection
2019 AUDENTES – Per the Wine Enthusiast, “This new Woodinville area winery is quickly making an impression. The aromas are achingly pure, with notes of plum, blue fruit and herb. The focus on the palate is squarely on the fruit, with no overt oak influence in site. It shows plenty of hang time on the finish.”
2020 AUDENTES – Our 2020 vintage is another Syrah which sings the praises of its fruit. The palate is rich, textured, layered, and ripe. Juicy black fruit, boysenberry, and black cherry. Hints of eucalyptus, rosemary and herbs. No overt oak influence and plenty of lingering flavors on the finish.
2020 AUDENTES – Block 14 For the 2020 vintage, I pulled the two best barrels of Syrah and bottled them separately as a “reservy” Syrah, aka Block 14. For something else new, I did not filter the wine prior to bottling. The end result is a beautiful example of Washington Syrah. I hope you agree. AUDENTES – Block 14 is a big, dry red wine that is nicely textured with fine tannings. Aromas and palate of boysenberry, allspice, smoked meat, and licorice.
