Woodinville Wine Country was featured in an article titled, “How Seattle’s suburban Eastside became a jumping off point for all that’s great about Washington” in Matador Network (online).

The article details that Seattle’s Eastside now features quintessential Washington state activities. “The Eastside became the less-crowded jumping off point for the best things about the state of Washington: wilderness, beer, creative food, and outdoor recreation.”

The section on Woodinville describes how the area just outside of Seattle became a wine hub, despite no grapes growing there. Also included is that Woodinville has the densest concentration of wine tasting rooms in America. “You can taste more small-vintage wines from tiny winemakers in a day than you can in famed locales like Napa Valley or Sonoma.”
