Ahh… September! The kids are back in school, the first bunches of leaves are starting to change color and pumpkin spice everything is appearing all around us. Though we’re only just starting to embrace the fall season, it’s not too early to be making plans for a December holiday tradition. Woodinville Wine Country will be kicking off the holidays with our annual St. Nick’s Weekend which runs from Friday, December 1st through Sunday, December 3rd. More than 25 wineries will open their doors for a weekend filled with special tastings and festivities.

But a word to the wise: buy your tickets early! This is a limited-space event and will sell out. In particular, the Friday evening tasting has fewer tickets available than in previous years so you’ll want to secure your spot now.

Once you have tickets in hand, you’ll be able to look forward to a special “Cure-ated” wine experience on Friday night. Guest chef Justin Severino, James Beard Award-nominee and owner of Cure Restaurant in Pittsburgh, teams up with Novelty Hill Januik’s executive chef Seth Fernald to host an evening of “Cure-ated” food and wines at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery. East Coast meets West Coast in this unique culinary collaboration that pairs food, wine and holiday cheer. Celebrate the flavors of the season by meeting the chefs, sampling bites from their distinctive menu, and tasting and taking home a luscious variety of specialty wines from over 30 Washington wineries.

On Saturday and Sunday, more than 25 wineries and tasting rooms throughout Woodinville Wine Country will welcome ticket holders for an entire weekend of holiday touring and tasting. Enjoy the festive flavors of Washington wines while you drink in the spirit of the season.
