Chateau Ste. Michelle lifted the spirits of many in throughout the Pacific Northwest on Friday with a harbinger of spring, announcing the complete lineup for its 35th annual Summer Concert Series.

There are a number of repeat performances within the schedule of 27 concerts, which begins June 13 with singer Rob Thomas of Matchbox Twenty fame and ends Sept. 20-21 with back-to-back shows by R&B legend Earth, Wind & Fire.

Tickets for each show go on sale 10 a.m. Saturday, March 9 through Ticketmaster.com or 1-800-745-3000. The winery’s Vintage Reserve Club receives its customary two-day advance on ticket sales on Thursday, March 7. Those 10,000 members need to check their email on Wednesday for the presale codes.

Ste. Michelle began to tease its lineup in January with the announced dates for Mark Knopfler, who will appear Sept. 14-15. (Both shows by the co-founder of Dire Straits are sellouts.) Last month, the winery announced the dates for the June 21-22 shows featuring Michael Franti & Spearhead and Ziggy Marley as well as the consecutive dates for An Evening with Josh Groban: Bridges Tour (Aug. 24-25). Those four shows also have been popular, leading to a pair of early sellouts.>>>Read the entire article on Great Northwest Wine
