SEATTLE – World-class red and white wines will be poured during Taste Washington this weekend at the CenturyLink Field Event Center with the world champion Boston Red Sox playing the first-place Seattle Mariners across the street.
The 22nd annual Taste Washington, the largest single-region wine and food event in the United States, features 235 wineries and 65 restaurants brought together by the Washington State Wine Commission and Visit Seattle. Last year’s attendance finished at 6,750 for the two-day Grand Tasting, up nearly 1,000 from the 2017 weekend.
This weekend, the Grand Tasting for the public runs 2:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday, with General admission is $95. There are a few VIP tickets available for Sunday. Cost is $165, which provides 1:30 p.m. access.
The thirst for wine education in Washington state grows. As a result, all six of the weekend seminars have been sold out. Here’s a quick overview of the festivities, which includes a link to sign up for the year-round Taste Washington newsletter that provides updates on the six events surrounding Taste Washington.>>>Read entire article on Great Northwest Wine
