Mother’s Day is just over a week away which means now is the best time to start making plans. From complimentary wine tastings, cake decorating, flower-making, chocolate and macarons, there are a dozen ways to spoil your mom in Woodinville Wine Country.

Flowers are in bloom at Novelty Hill-Januik Winery and you can create one that will last for years to come. Pink & Posey’s Quynh Nguyen is known throughout Seattle for her exquisite, handcrafted paper flowers. Join Quynh on Mother’s Day afternoon at Novelty Hill-Januik to craft your own paper rose while sipping Spring Run Rosé and enjoying small bites.

You can also create your own flowers with frosting! When you register for Matthews Winery’s “Cake & Blooms” decorating workshop, you’ll decorate your own mini cake with fresh blooms to bring home for your Mother’s Day celebration. And while you’re there, take advantage of a complimentary wine tastings for mom at the Matthews Winery tasting room.

Mom can also be treated to free sips at at Silver Lake Winery – they’re presenting all moms with a fresh rose – and Efeste, where you can also take advantage of a Mother’s Day discount on two-bottle gift boxes.

There are plenty of places to satisfy Mom’s sweet tooth: William Church Winery is pairing free wine tastings for mom with artisan chocolates. Sol Stone Winery and Obelisco Estate will have gourmet chocolate available and Woodhouse Winery is pairing Lady Yum macarons with their release of the 2016 Kennedy Shah Picnic Blend.

A traditional Mother’s Day brunch is a classic way to show mom how much you appreciate her. The Willows Lodge has two great options – Barking Frog will offer their full a la carte brunch menu along with Mother’s Day signature items, including their ever-popular Grand Marnier Prawns. And a buffet brunch is being served up in the Sammamish Ballroom where Chef Bobby Moore and his culinary team have created a menu with a wide array of choices that will please every member of the family.
