In a celebration of all things pink and lovely, Guardian Cellars will be releasing their 2020 Pursued Rosé Valentine’s Day weekend! Stop by the Vault at Maltby or their Hollywood tasting room starting Friday February 12th to sample and purchase this beautiful GSM Rosé blend (reservations strongly suggested).
This is Rosé done right! New to the Guardian line-up and already a fan favorite, Pursued is made in the traditional Provençal style with direct press and light skin contact creating a gorgeous pale blush coloring. A blend of 40% Grenache, 30% Syrah, and 30% Mouvedre sourced out of the Orondo Valley and aged entirely on stainless steel, these grapes were harvested early and deliberately to maintain crisp acidity while elevating the nuances of the fruit. It’s floral and fresh, with notes of juicy stone fruit, peak-of-the-season strawberry, and watermelon rind. A Valentine’s treat that will surely transport you and your loved one out of this grey dreariness and into the blue skies of summer!
