We’ve been honored to film Northwest Wine Night TV at various tasting rooms and venues around Woodinville Wine Country over the past 6 seasons. They say “home is where the heart is, where you lay your head.” For us at Northwest Wine Night TV, home is where we taste good wine among good friends! That’s why we are elated to call Novelty Hill Januik our new home!
Novelty Hill and Januik are two independent wineries that share a destination tasting room and production facility in Woodinville, Wa., under the direction of Mike Januik, one of Washington State’s most acclaimed winemakers.
The modern tasting room of Novelty Hill Januik has plenty of glass windows to enjoy their amazing outdoor space and views below of the wine barreling in process. We filmed there recently and let me tell you autumn looks good on the grounds of Novelty Hill Januik. You couldn’t paint a more beautiful scenery of red leaves, it created the most stunning backdrop. I witnessed many selfies in the duration of our time there. If you visit their tasting room on a Sunday, you just might be able to get a peek of us filming Northwest Wine Night TV! Being in the audience can have its perks. In addition to audience coordination, one of my jobs is to help oversee the production along with the Director, to have a keen eye. Well, in this Northwest Wine Night TV first, having a keen ear may have put me in the matchmaker category.
A certain audience member thought a certain panelist was good looking, so a certain audience coordinator found out he was single and got his number for her after the show. We shall see if sparks will fly, but we do know that they have one thing in common. Wine. Do you think they will go wine tasting for their first date? Will I be invited to their wedding? If/when I get the exclusive update, I’ll be sure to follow up with the story.
What happens on the set of Northwest Wine Night TV, doesn’t always stay on the set of Northwest Wine Night TV.
