Tuesday Recipe and Wine Pairing

Nothing says summer like a burger from the grill. Oil & Vinegar’s Summer Burger Trio celebrates the culinary influences of Asia, Texas and the Mediterranean. We suggest a dry rosé; refreshing and pairs well with most summer foods or try a smokey-spicey, Malbec or Tempranillo or Mourvedre varietal. Woodinville is overflowing with these unique varietals. Thai Turkey Burger •

Indredients:

1 pound ground turkey • 3 tablespoons Sriracha Chilli Seasoning • 2 tablespoons Wok oil• 2 tablespoons coconut oil, melted • 1 teaspoon ground pepper • ½ teaspoon salt

Cucumber Carrot Relish •

1 cucumber, julienned or grated • 1 carrot, julienned or grated • 1 tablespoon rice wine vinegar • 1 teaspoons lime juice • 1 teaspoon sugar • lettuce for serving

Texas Bacon Cheese Burger •

Ingredients:

1 pound ground beef • 3 tablespoons Chardonnay Jalapeño Grapeseed Oil4 tablespoons Texan Rub • 1 teaspoon ground pepper • ½ teaspoon salt

Toppings •

3 slices cheddar cheese • 6 slices cooked bacon • tomato, pickle, onion, lettuce for serving

Mediterranean Lamb Burger •

Ingredients:

1 pound ground lamb • 3 tablespoons Lemon Olive Oil4 tablespoons Mediterranean Rub1 teaspoon ground pepper • ½ teaspoon salt

Toppings •

Feta cheese, tomato, lettuce, Aegean Tapenade for serving
