Find out in the upcoming Woodinville Wine Boot Camp on June 1st.
If you’ve ever found yourself browsing the aisles of your local bottle shop or pouring over an extensive wine list and wondered how to decipher that foreign wine label, then Woodinville Wine Country has the solution for you!
On June 1st, Woodinville Wine Country is hosting a full-day wine education seminar including the all-important topic of decoding foreign wine labels. This session will be taught by Tanya Morningstar Darling, an Official Ambassador of Bourgogne Wines and the 2018 French Wine Scholar Instructor of the Year.
Tanya has been working in the wine industry; in restaurants, retail, and education for more than two decades and continues to be a stalwart traveller, visiting many of the great wine regions of Western and Eastern Europe, as well as those of the United States.
Attendees of this course will gain practical knowledge to understand foreign wine labels, including the history and origin of labeling and its impact on winemaking and the end product. Attendees will leave knowing how to apply these lessons to confidently select international wines in any setting, and will have tasted a flight of six international varietals in the process; now that’s what we call a win-win.
In addition to Decoding Foreign Wine Labels, there are three other exciting topics (and plenty of wine) that will be covered in this full-day wine education course and we hope to see you there. For more information, visit woodinvillewinecountry.com.
