The state’s oldest winery will celebrate its 50th anniversary this year, and will celebrate by releasing a commemorative wine and hosting a series of events throughout 2017.

Chateau Ste. Michelle was originally founded in 1934, but didn’t begin producing wine until 1967. Here’s how the winery plans to mark the 50th anniversary throughout the year:

50th Anniversary Special Bottling Cabernet Sauvignon, Columbia Valley
The winery will release a commemorative label Cabernet Sauvignon in April, a tribute to the first bottles released in 1967. The winery will also release a magnum bottling of the wine.
