In 2011, they transitioned their winemaking hobby from Scott’s garage to Woodinville, launching their first wines in 2012. They focus on Super-Tuscan-style wines crafted from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot sourced from top Washington vineyards, including Wahluke Slope and Red Mountain.
Genoa Cellars embodies the theme of sailing, with each wine capturing the essence of the Puget Sound experience. Their branding reflects “Depth, Wisdom, Reflection,” using colors like Obsidian, Pearl, and Silver, with blends named after sailing terms such as Traveler and Even Keel.
